'Yes, there will be beer!'

'Yes, there will be beer!'

All things considered, it seems to work out in the end!  Currently, we have set up two full weekends of shows in November for our official opening.  There will be two breweries doing tastings for each show, so 'Yes, there will be beer at the beer movie!'  Check the SHOW TIMES calendar for details on which breweries will be presenting each night.

Currently, the Milwaukee shows are official and the Madison shows are in the final stages of negotiation.

Tickets will be sold at the box office and online and if you were on the guest list for the last show, you are STILL on the guest list for this show.  You may redeem those tickets by calling or emailing the theatre in advance and they will set aside a ticket for you at will call.

The shows last week were a rousing success and we thank everyone who braved the roar of 100,000 Harley Riders to catch a show.  The last show at Cafe' Lulu and the show at Delafield were canceled due to logistic impossibilities.  If you showed up for either, we do apologize for your time.

There will be a premiere toward the end of the month, (consider the last week as preview shows.)  The details of this are pending.  Signup on our mailing list for details.

Correction:  George.  Not Craig.

Correction:  George.  Not Craig.

George Bluvas III is the brewmaster from Waterstreet Brewery.  He was shown as Craig at the showing last night, but in fact his name George!

Incorrect DVDs were aired and sold on WednesdayAugust 27 2008 with George's secret identity "Craig" being broadcast to the brewing community.  Having blown his witnesse protection cover name, we recalled all of the DVDs and have reprinted them!

However...

... if you still have one, (you can tell because it does not bear the tiny "V2" on the left-hand side of the disk label), please contact us so that we may swap out the DVD.  Thank you!

The premiere...

The premiere...

Now that was not the performance that we had intended!  We are very sorry to let you down for the premiere, but let me address the most popular questions:

What happened?  The film is and was DONE!  We filmed it and edited it digitally, but when it came time to compress the final cut, it kept crashing halfway through the process.  By the time the premiere came about, it was simply too late come up with an alternative.

Did that ever happen before?  Nope!  We made many versions before this without incident.

When can we see it?  Next week during Harleyfest!  The list of locations will be up by Monday, and we will be adding to it periodically.

What about the Kiwanis?  Yeah,... half of nothing is a very small donation.  We will be working out something fantastic to help them out.  What exactly?  TBA.

99 Bottles invades the Great Taste of the Midwest

It was outstanding.  6000 people all trying to keep cool on a perfect Madison Saturday, and 99 Bottles Documentary was there to seize the opportunity to meet and great them all ... or a least as many as was humanly possible!  The experience was electrifing, with people from all over the states, even the world, all sampling the wares of some of the most talented breweries on the planet.

Truly, a sight to behold!  For more information about event, visit the Great Taste's website.
